An exquisite handmade Boutique rug woven in the Atlas Mountains and known as a Berber Picasso. 3 styles of weaving are used in this rug. There are knotted areas, flatwoven areas and some embroidery. The background pattern is black and white and the pattern changes beautifully throughout the rug. Nicely bound off with a braided fringe on one end. Rug measures 7’2″ x 3’10” (218cm x 117cm) including the fringe. Weight is ~8 1/4lbs (3.75kg). Excellent condition! .
