Hand-knotted Yuntag wool carpet from Turkey. Wool pile on cotton foundation. Measures 47 inches wide and 77 inches long, plus one inch of fringe on both ends. Colors are primarily red, rust and blue on a cream background. Pre-owned but in excellent condition. Recently professionally cleaned. The carpet has no visible wear because it was hung on a wall as artwork, not on the floor. Not yet considered an antique, but age is approximately 40 years. Last photo shows the underside of the carpet with very high quality knots.
