Authentic handmade wool rug purchased in Kazakhstan from a traveling rug dealer while our family lived there. This rug features a beautiful all-over floral design with rich reds, blues, greens, and ivory tones. Based on its design, it shares characteristics with Malayer-style floral rugs, although I cannot verify the exact weaving region. The rug is hand-knotted with a wool pile and hand-finished edges. It measures approximately 7 feet by 9.5 feet. It has been professionally cleaned in the past and has since been stored. It is being sold in its current condition. Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of the description. Purchased directly in Kazakhstan from a rug dealer who traveled between Almaty and Atyrau.
